As a communications professional, I have been practicing and fine-tuning my skills for nearly four decades. This includes research and writing experience in advertising, public relations, philanthropy, and higher education.
I grew up on a farm in Missouri and quickly discovered an inclination to write about agriculture, covering topics from alfalfa to fertilizers to cow teat treatments.
I went on to tackle technical writing by researching and drafting training materials and testimonials for Western Star Truck dealerships.
I then moved to Virginia and ventured into the world of higher education, nonprofit fundraising, and donor profiles.
