As a communications professional, I have been practicing and fine-tuning my skills for nearly four decades. This includes research and writing experience in advertising and public relations.
I grew up on a farm in Missouri and quickly discovered an inclination to write about agriculture, covering topics from alfalfa to fertilizers to cow teat treatments.
I went on to tackle technical writing by researching and drafting training materials and testimonials for Western Star Truck dealerships.
I then ventured into the world of higher education and nonprofit fundraising, which helped fine-tune my interview skills to create inspirational donor profile articles.
